FDA approves four H1N1 (swine flu) vaccines for 2009-2010
Children of God for Life announced today that four new H1N1 (swine flu) vaccines approved late last week by the FDA do not use aborted fetal cell lines. The four vaccines are made by Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis, CSL and Medimmune and all are using chick eggs. “We are pleased that the pharmaceutical companies have chosen these cell lines for this year’s H1N1 vaccines,” stated Executive Director Debi Vinnedge. “There are enough concerns about public health and safety without compounding the problems with moral issues.”

For nearly ten years watchdog organization Children of God for Life has alerted the public on existing and new vaccines and medical products under development using aborted fetal material, and encouraged the pharmaceutical industry to pursue moral avenues of research.
New Swine Flu Vaccine Produced in Moral Cell Culture
Children of God for Life announced today that a new swine flu vaccine produced by Swiss-based pharmaceutical giant, Novartis, is made using ethical cell lines. The vaccine, which was hailed last week by the Associated Press as the first to be produced in cell culture rather than the traditional chick embryo method, uses MDCK (Madin-Darby Canine Kidney) cells.
