Fair Labeling and Informed Consent - Public Comments
Children of God for Life is seeking public comments that will help justify the need for the Fair Labeling and Informed Consent Act, which has been introduced to several members of Congress. But nothing hits home harder than reading the true-life stories of parents and physicians who have been misled, deliberately lied to or otherwise impacted by not knowing in advance about the use of aborted fetal cell lines in vaccines and medical products.
Over the years we have received thousands of letters from people who were
never informed. Some have filed lawsuits under a breach of religious right to
abstain in 48 of 50 states. Physicians have told us they felt they violated
patient trust or medical ethics under doctrine of informed consent by not
having this information. Pharmacists have told us they would have purchased
moral alternatives if they had foreknowledge to do so. Still others have told
us they were patently lied to by the pharmaceutical industry, the Centers for
Disease Control or the Department of Health and Human Services when they
inquired about aborted fetal materials in vaccines.
If something similar has happened to you, please consider sharing your own
real-life story, which will in turn, be presented to your US
representatives in both the House and Senate. Tell us what happened - how you
found out - did your doctor know? Did he/she believe you? If medical
professionals do not know, how is a parent supposed to know? And if a
parent doesn't know, how can they make an informed choice? Note: We also
welcome letters from members of foreign countries so that our government
understands the magnitude of this problem.
